Yuma is developing the most advanced AI agent orchestration platform, dedicated to customer success and e-commerce. We are automating the heavy burden that large merchants face in their day-to-day activities. This market is vast and homogeneous, and every single merchant needs Yuma. We have a head start in this space, but we will not rest until we are the clear winner in the e-commerce customer success AI market.

Yuma was launched in early 2023 by a third-time YC founder and is already serving hundreds of paying customers.

Job Overview:
As a Product Designer at Yuma.ai, you will collaborate closely with product, engineers and clients to design user-centered solutions that help our customers make the most of our AI-powered tools. Your focus will be on creating intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and a seamless user experience.
You will be designing products that cater to both business clients and end users.

Key Responsibilities:.

  • Wireframing & Prototyping:
    Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that reflect user feedback, product requirements, and design best practices.
  • UI/UX Design:
    Design intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces that integrate seamlessly with our AI-driven features. Ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across platforms.
  • Collaborative Design:
    Work together with our VP of product, developers and clients to understand project requirements and business goals, ensuring that design solutions align with the overall vision of the product.
  • Usability Testing & Iteration:
    Conduct usability testing on prototypes and designs, using insights to iterate and improve the user experience. Continually refine and optimize designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
  • Design Systems & Documentation:
    Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a design system, including UI components, patterns, and guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product and UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
  • Solid understanding of user testing practices.
  • Experience designing for web with a strong understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Experience working in early stage companies and e-commerce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus, but not required.
