About the role

Position

We are looking for a more traditional Software Engineer role (not AI-focused). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software that enables our surgical robotic and navigation platforms. As a member of the engineering team, you will work closely with other engineers to design and develop software from the research phase to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Work on a cross-functional team to design, implement, document, and qualify software for medical robots. Collaborate with the product team, hardware/software developers, and manufacturing engineers to drive new software features and develop comprehensive software solutions to meet specific requirements. Ensure FDA compliance through documentation, unit testing, peer reviews, and validation of software output. Support the manufacturing team in verification and validation activities.

Skills

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
Proficiency in C++ is a requirement.
Experience with Nvidia CUDA and Python is a plus.
Experience in computer vision or GPU computing is a plus.

About you

Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
