The Opportunity

As our Founding Account Executive, you will own and execute Zep AI’s growth-stage and enterprise GTM strategy. You’ll be responsible for driving high-value, complex enterprise deals, partnering closely with our founder and team to position our technology as mission-critical to large organizations.

We already have significant F1000 inbound. You will be building on this inbound activity to help define a sales motion from the ground up, engaging directly with CTOs, AI/ML leaders, and engineering teams at Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing tech enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Zep AI’s growth-stage and enterprise sales motion, working with our founder to develop and execute strategies to land and expand high-value customers.
  • Translate deep technical concepts into clear business value, engaging with AI/ML, data infrastructure, and engineering teams.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, working with C-level executives, technical buyers, and procurement teams.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable sales processes, including pipeline management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
  • Partner closely with our founder, engineering and product teams to influence roadmap decisions based on enterprise customer needs.
  • Lay the foundation for Zep AI’s future enterprise sales team, setting best practices in deal structuring, enterprise account management, and expansion strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally selling AI/ML, data infrastructure, or developer-focused products.
  • Proven quota-carrying experience, with a track record of closing $250K+ enterprise ACV deals.
  • Deep understanding of the engineering function – you’ve successfully sold to CTOs, ML Engineers, and Technical Founders.
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales cycles, including negotiating multi-year contracts and working with legacy and infosec teams.
  • Ability to sell into both technical and business stakeholders, bridging the gap between engineering teams and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong experience in early-stage, high-growth environments, with a proven ability to create and execute GTM strategies from scratch.
  • Passion for AI, automation, and the future of intelligent enterprise systems.

Compensation

  • $200k OTE ($125k Base + $75k Variable)
  • 1% Equity
