Who you are

  • Empathy for customer pain points and eagerness to understand complex business workflows
  • A pragmatic design approach, where the ability to pivot and trade-off objectives is necessary to ship fast and well
  • Strong product opinions and taste - not shying away from proposing solutions based on your intuition and experience
  • Exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and customer success
  • Have experience working in early stage startups taking products from 0 to 1
  • Background in B2C and/or willingness to move to B2B companies and enhance experience of our customers

What the job involves

  • We're looking for a generalist product designer to take ownership of our design
  • Deep care and love for our customers, products, colleagues, and partners to solve the most impactful problems in business operations
  • Continue building on strong design foundations we focused on from Day 0 by shaping the future of the look and feel of our product and our brand
  • Refining and improving products based on customer feedback
  • Working closely with product and engineering in defining and optimizing the design and development process
  • A level of flexibility and ambiguity in relation to the stage of our startup

About the interview

  • An initial 30-minute intro call with one of the founders
  • A 60-minute call with the founder you are going to work the closest to go through your experience and (when applicable, a case study)
  • A 30-minute call with two product engineers who you would be collaborating the closest with
  • A final 45-minute values interview with another founder
  • Assuming we are a mutual match, we’ll conduct reference checks to confirm what we learned about you throughout the interview process. Typically, we’d ask for a couple of managers or peers that you collaborated with in the recent past
