About the role
We are looking to bring on an exceptional founding engineer to help us in our mission to revolutionize the way businesses interact with their customers by building an AI-powered CSR for interacting with revenue-sensitive customers. We’ve grown to 7 digits in ARR very quickly and are expecting even faster growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Full-stack engineer with a background in AI, ideally w/ 2-4 years experience building complex systems quickly 0-1; we love ex-founders or hackers
- Note: we're open to exceptional college grads with industry experience (e.g. internship).
- Self-directed, high ownership, passionate, low ego; desire to work on a fast-paced, intense, fun team.
- Ambition to build a world-class engineering team
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, ruthlessly prioritize, have high-degree of customer empathy, and have the mental fortitude of being able to overcome any obstacle.
About Avoca
Avoca (YC W23) is building the AI Sales agent for the Trades - bringing AI to the industries that need it the most.
The founders are two MIT engineers with a background in building AI first products: Apurva Shrivastava, a 2nd time AI founder who was an engineer at Retool, and Tyson Chen, who was an early PM at Nuro and previously built chatbots for F500 companies at BCG.
Since entering the trillion dollar home services market just 9 months ago, Avoca is going through exponential growth and is poised to revolutionize the entire industry with its powerful AI agents capable of closing leads across all communication mediums (call, text, web-chat, lead aggregators).
