Courtyard is building the infrastructure to bring physical assets to the blockchain by creating physically backed NFTs. It aims to solve the friction inherent of trading high value collectibles (trading cards, sneakers, watches, art, etc.) and increase the liquidity of that market.

When an authenticated asset is tokenized on Courtyard’s platform, it is vaulted securely, and an NFT is created. This NFT is guaranteed to represent an authentic physical item no matter how many times it is traded to anyone, anywhere in the world. The NFT offers proof of ownership as well as a high-fidelity 3d rendering the owner can display proudly online.
