Crustdata provides live company and people data via APIs and full dataset delivery. We make hard to get data easy to use at scale.
Customers use us to build their AI agent platforms and applications over our trusted data. We power builders of:
-AI SDRs
-AI sales platofmrs
-AI recruiting platforms
-AI investment/due diligence platforms
-Internal sales or marketing platforms
We serve use cases like: automatic pipeline building, pipeline prioritization, champion watching, company and people triggers for sales and marketing automation, investment deal sourcing
We have developed technology that allows us to pipe in live data from over a dozen different data sources and deliver this data instantly to our customers.
Our goal is index all the important data on the web and deliver it to customers in an easy-to-use way.

Love to build - from PB scale data pipelines to self-driving trucks! Recently, started loving selling software. Founding/early engineer at 3 startups with exits. Led the robotics team at NASDAQ:SERV and was there from day 0 to IPO. Led the Robotics team at Postmates X (acquired by Uber). Was founding robotics engineer at CMU spin-off startup Robotwits (acquired by Waymo). Prior to that, built petabyte scale data pipelines at Yahoo!. BS in CS from IIIT Hyderabad.

We’re Chris, Abhilash, and Manmohit - founders of Crustdata (YC F24). We’re restructuring the web for AI agents by building the first search engine built specifically for AI agents to find information on people, companies, and events.
This launch is our Web Search API - the fastest, most accurate way for agents to get structured, fresh web data they can actually act on.
🧠 Web Search API for AI agents: real-time search + fetch → structured data mapped to a canonical entity
🧩 Proprietary indexing algorithm that maps every relevant web document back to the correct person/company entity
🏗 Built on 2 years of verified people + firmographic data APIs, now extended to index the rest of the web
🔎 Pair it with our People Search API to find the right people, then pull the freshest context from the web
Problem
The web has everything about people and companies - funding posts, blogs, GitHub, research papers, podcasts, job changes, pricing pages, news - but it’s:
scattered across billions of pages
written for humans
hard for AI to reliably connect into one coherent view
So agents either:
scrape brittle HTML and break constantly, or
use stale databases and miss what changed this week.
Solution
We spent 2 years building verified People + Company APIs. That gave us high-confidence entity profiles.
Now we’re indexing the rest of the web and building a proprietary indexing algorithm that:
finds every relevant document about a person/company
maps it to the right entity
returns it as structured data that agents can use immediately
