About Us

We are developing a game engine that can code itself at runtime to adapt to player actions. We are currently building a community for our first game powered by this engine.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead and grow our Discord community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about gaming, community engagement, and fostering meaningful player interactions. This position can start out as a part-time role with an opportunity to turn into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and Grow the Community – Implement strategies to attract new members to our Discord server. This may involve outreach to other communities, game developers, and playtesters, as well as leveraging social media and content platforms.
• Boost Engagement & Interaction – Actively engage with community members by responding to questions, initiating discussions, and creating compelling content that fosters interaction.
• Be the Voice of Fractal Labs – Clearly communicate our game’s vision, features, and future roadmap. You’ll stay up to date with our latest developments to answer questions and provide accurate information to the community.
• Moderation & Support – Ensure the community remains a welcoming and inclusive space by moderating discussions, addressing concerns, and implementing community guidelines when necessary.

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in growing and managing Discord communities, particularly in gaming or tech.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse community members in a professional and friendly manner.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for fostering vibrant and active online communities.
• Availability to check in and respond to community members at various times throughout the day.
