Lantern is a Postgres database for building AI applications.

Our goal is to build the operating system for building AI applications. This means we want to build all of the tools that you would need to make it easy to build great applications, starting with the very best vector database!

We think we have what it takes to be the category leader in the vector database space, and cement ourselves as one of the best databases in the market. We want the biggest companies in the world to use our infrastructure to power their applications.

We're a small team based in San Francisco, California. Our co-founders have experience from Timescale ($1B Postgres company), Y Combinator, and Facebook Ads Ranking. We're backed by The House Fund, Y Combinator, Wayfinder Ventures, the founders of Citus Data, and multiple YC partners.
