Dawson studied CS and Econ at Yale. He also started a nonprofit to find employment for the homeless and worked on AI research projects at NASA and Stanford.

Dawson, Harsh, and Arjun studied Computer Science at Yale, MIT, and CMU respectively for 1 year before dropping out to build Martin.
The three of us have been hacking together since 6th grade. We’ve built countless apps, websites, and robots together. And, we all share a childhood dream of having our own Jarvis!

We believe the true potential of AI as a consumer user interface lies in doing things proactively. Eventually, Martin will reply to emails for you, schedule your appointments, and buy your groceries, all without you having to ask.
