People consume up to 9 kg of chocolate per year. Everyone is craving chocolate To satisfy this craving, around 5M tonnes of cocoa have to be produced per year. Yet, this comes at a price for the planet and population: millions of hectares of rainforest were cut down for cocoa plantations during the last decade.
Founded in 2021 by scientists Dr. Max Marquart and Dr. Sara Marquart, Planet A Foods solves this by producing the world's first 100% cocoa-free chocolate called Nocoa.
