About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who thrives under pressure and is eager to solve complex problems. You should have at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with deep expertise in testing web and mobile applications. If you want to be on the front lines of building AI-driven solutions that push the boundaries of what technology can do, this is your opportunity. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, identifying issues before they reach our customers, and working with the engineering team to deliver a flawless user experience. This is not a job for the faint-hearted—it's a chance to make an impact in a high-stakes startup environment. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Responsibilities
Test and Validate Front-End and Back-End Systems: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of front-end and back-end systems. You will perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to guarantee every aspect of our platform meets high standards.
Automate Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our web and mobile applications. Your goal is to ensure that repetitive tasks are automated to improve efficiency and allow the team to focus on exploratory testing.
Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with front-end and back-end engineers to identify, document, and resolve defects. You will have a key role in driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Ensure Product Quality: Advocate for quality at all stages of the development process. You will define acceptance criteria, review requirements, and provide input on product design and usability to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
Performance and Load Testing: Continuously monitor and test the performance of our systems. You will identify bottlenecks, provide recommendations for improvement, and work with the team to ensure the platform is always operating at peak efficiency.
Create and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results. Documentation should be thorough to ensure repeatability and transparency.
Mentor Team Members: Support and elevate junior QA engineers by providing hands-on guidance, conducting thorough test plan reviews, and fostering a culture of learning. We're looking for leaders who set high standards and pull others up with them.
