How We Got Here

While seeing band aid logging products launched at both Datadog and Splunk, we witnessed firsthand how traditional logging tools overwhelm developers with data—burying critical insights under mountains of noise. Teams waste countless hours sifting through logs, missing the signals that matter most. Meanwhile, costs escalate as volumes grow, and early decisions limit vendor flexibility. We realized the problem wasn't just about collecting logs but in really understanding them.
