Our methodology centers on applying black-box interpretability techniques to AI agents like ChatGPT and Claude to understand how they form opinions about a brand and its competitors. Seeing the *why* behind each opinion gives us the ability to create targeted interventions that change them.

For Parley, an early customer, Unusual identified a key gap in what Perplexity knew about the space of SOC2 compliant AI for law firms. It automatically published pages to fill the gaps (Model Use, Data Flows, and Isolation by Firm, Encryption, Access Controls, and Audit Logging) and within a month, those two pages were within the top 3 most important citations for the topic area.
