Growing up building and modding the gaming computers for all my friends, I had to pause my passion for tinkering during medical school, only to re-discover it in postgraduate training. I tried starting my first needle-free vein access device company during pediatrics residency. Although an early failure, I found the right mentorship, first at Dartmouth and then as a fellow at Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship, where I learned the ins and outs of medical technology innovation.
