Amer (left) and Andrew (right) are longtime friends and repeat co-founders who set out on this journey after confronting digital shopping challenges firsthand. They both played key roles in Anghami’s IPO, the first tech IPO from the Middle East on Nasdaq.
More recently, Amer built products used by billions on WhatsApp, serving as a staff engineer at Meta following a stint at Google. Meanwhile, Andrew transformed the shopping experience for millions at HelloFresh and Amazon. Their diverse, hands-on experiences drive Ovlo’s mission to deliver a conversational AI that converts.
