❌ The problem
If you’ve ever seen how a real customer operation gets handled inside a large company, you’ll notice the conversation is usually the shortest part. Most of the time goes into opening 6-10 tools, finding history, checking documents, verifying details and recording what happened afterwards.
We ran into such issues while building a fintech product and spending months embedded with support and operations teams. A support case that looked “simple” from the outside often meant 40 minutes of prep and follow-up wrapped around an 8-minute customer interaction. The work was more around moving data and decisions across messy systems than actually talking to customers.
To handle these cases, we built an internal system that could understand a case end-to-end and take actions across systems automatically. During a demo, a partner stopped us and asked for that system instead of the fintech product itself.
That became Cozmo.
✅ How Cozmo is solving it
Cozmo is a system of work for complex enterprise operations, starting with financial services and insurance. Companies use Cozmo to build and deploy AI employees, which are a collection of agents that own workflows end to end. They talk to customers, read documents, interpret videos, apply company policies and update systems like Guidewire, Temenos and Salesforce, pulling humans into the loop only when real judgment or escalation is needed.
Every decision the AI employee makes is logged, including its reasoning and policy reference, providing a complete audit trail for compliance and operations without additional manual effort. This is managed by our proprietary Agent Protocol Engine (APE), the control layer that keeps shared context, enforces policy and ensures every step is tracked for regulated industries.
Cozmo is live with 10+ enterprises, including Fortune Global 500s like Nestlé, and has already handled over 1M production calls and 10M interactions; cutting costs by up to 70% and turning roughly 1 in 13 conversations into revenue.

Most AI tools are just prompt trees with a UI. They’re fine for neat, repetitive tasks; but they fall apart the moment operations get messy, ending in half‑filled tickets, off‑script collection calls and disputes scattered across systems.

🚀 Our story
Nuha and Alok have been friends for over 11 years. We scaled a regulated fintech together in Dubai, navigating one of the most demanding regulatory environments in the world. When the regulations and market changed, we were forced to shut it down. We built AI employees to manage the fintech ourselves on cockroach mode, handling communications and documentation across every affected account.
That system worked, and when a partner saw it, they asked to buy it instead. So we moved from Dubai to San Francisco to build Cozmo.
Three years, two countries, 180 pivot, and we’re still going.
