Elyra is the AI reservation system for restaurants.
We’re building AI agents that answer every phone call and email instantly, connected to a reservation system that optimizes table placements in real time. Already powering top restaurant groups.
The Problem
Imagine running a store where 4 out of every 10 customers walk up, find the door locked, and leave.
That's how restaurants operate today.
40% of incoming phone calls go unanswered. Emails sit for days. This leads to high-value bookings getting lost: large groups, private events, special occasions, corporate dinners. The bookings that fill slow Tuesday nights and turn an average month into a great one.
Restaurants run on thin margins and one missed call can mean a €2,000 group booking lost to a competitor. Over a year, the average mid-sized restaurant leaves more than $100,000 on the table simply because no one answered in time.
Yet the entire industry still relies on waiters manually handling calls and emails during service. Staff get overwhelmed, emails get buried, and the reservation systems on the market do nothing to fix it. They're glorified calendars.
The Solution
Elyra is the AI reservation system for restaurants. Three things, working together:
Every call, email, and booking becomes a data point that makes the next visit better, turning first-time guests into regulars.
Why It Matters
Here's what our users say:
"Some regulars thought we hired a new waiter."
"We made back a year's cost in two weeks."
"Aha, this is what AI should feel like."
Waiters can finally focus on the guests in front of them instead of a ringing phone. Managers see the bookings they used to lose close automatically. Owners get empty tables filled, margins back, and guests returning.
Elyra is already live across multiple restaurant groups, with new venues seeing record occupancy within weeks of launch.
The Team
Elyra was founded by Felix Odeberg Glasenapp and Alan Mando, who met in primary school in Stockholm and have been building things together ever since. Felix studied Engineering Physics at KTH. Alan studied Business at WU Vienna.
To build Elyra, the founders spent weeks inside restaurants, taking phone calls, standing at the waiters stand, and watching service unfold. Every product decision came from that.
