Agentic Storefronts for E-Commerce Brands

Kinect builds AI agents that know your brand, your catalog, and your customers' taste. On your site, they sell every visitor — running the conversation, adapting product pages in real time to each customer segment, picking the right recommendation for the question being asked. The agent picks up on what each shopper actually wants from how they ask, what they hesitate on, what they compare, and what objection makes them bounce. The storefront stops being a static grid and starts being a salesperson. We take all of a brand's data and make a structured catalog, brand voice, fit notes, return reasons, segment-level nuance — all so the Kinect agents truly can speak about a brand. When an agent describes the brand, the version it describes is the one you'd want them to, not whatever it guessed from a public catalog scrape. Every interaction becomes signal the brand owns. The model gets sharper, the storefront gets better at selling, every session. Kinect continues to optimize on intent data, user journey data, agentic search data, and more. Over time gaps are filled and conversion for agentic commerce continues to improve. We're building for human shoppers today and the AI agents that shop and discovery for them. Either way, the entire website needs to get a lot smarter and personalized. Two surfaces. One brand layer. Built for scaling DTC ecommerce brands.

Kinect: Personalized storefronts that sell, not just show

TL;DR: Kinect builds storefronts that sell, not just show. Our AI agents know each ecommerce brand's catalog, voice, and customer taste — they sell to every visitor on the site, and represent the brand to every external agent (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) asking about it from outside.

The problem. For 25 years, the ecommerce storefront has been a static grid with a search bar. Conversion has hovered at 1–3%. Most visitors leave because the surface is passive - it shows them everything, asks them nothing, and expects them to do the work of figuring out what they want.

At the same time, brands need to cater to how AI talks and represents their brand when conversations are held off platform. ChatGPT shopping queries doubled in six months. As more shoppers ask agents to compare and decide before they ever land on a brand, brands are losing control of how they're described — what those agents say about a brand is whatever they guessed from a public catalog scrape, not what the brand would want them to say.

What we built. On the brand's site, Kinect's agents sell every visitor — running sales conversations like concierge, adapting and personalizing product pages to customer segments in real-time, picking the right recommendation for the question being asked. The agent picks up on what each shopper actually wants by looking at where they came from, what they are doing on site, their searches, filters, order history, and more. The storefront stops being a static grid and starts being a salesperson.

Off-site, we expose an enriched brand-owned data layer makes the brand legible to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Structured catalog, brand voice, fit notes, return reasons, segment-level nuance — all exposed in formats external agents can actually use. When an agent describes the brand, the version it describes is now the one the brand would want them to. All of this sits on a parallel Agent storefront that is context rich, structured, and catered specifically for agents to read and scrape. The Kinect agents are also available for the agents to talk too, ask questions, and more.

One brand layer built for all surfaces. Built for scaling DTC e-commerce brands.

Backstory

Kratik and I spent the past year at Reevo building conversational intelligence for B2B sales – extracting buyer intent from dialogue, helping enterprise teams understand what prospects actually wanted, and close more deals faster. We also used AI to scrape and research customers and know where the gaps are in discovery.

As we built for B2B reps, our E-Commerce friends kept asking for something like this for their own brands – a way to reimagine the website to drive conversion and personalization. So we got to work.
