We build AI sales agents that manage the end-to-end insurance sales process, from answering questions, personalized coverage explanations and quoting. These agents are continuously evaluated and improved through our proprietary platform, optimizing sales performance while remaining 100% compliant. Selling insurance requires strict regulatory compliance, deep carrier integrations, and extremely reliable answers. Platforms like OpenAI and Google remain general-purpose and are less likely to build the vertical infrastructure required for regulated industries. Today, Kinro serves brokers and direct-to-consumer carriers across the US and Europe. Insurance distribution is huge: insurers pay roughly $100B+ in commissions annually, and distributors spend $10B+ every year on advertising to acquire customers. Pierre-Alexandre led research improving Gemini for financial services at DeepMind. Parth led infrastructure for training and inference at Zoox. Corentin was the first employee in an insurance startup and worked closely with many insurance leaders.

AI sales agents for the P&C insurance industry.

Hi everyone! We are Pierre-Alexandre Kamienny, Parth Ainampudi and Corentin Hugot, and we are building AI sales agents for insurance brokers and D2C carriers.

The problem

  • P&C insurance is a $1T industry where billions are spent every year on customer acquisition. Yet the buyer experience remains terrible, countless forms, going on call with licensed professionals…
  • LLM interfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, …) are taking over the buyer journey, but the experience remains an enhanced web search, sending the user to the normal flow again at the end.
  • For insurance distributors, using  AI in a customer-facing environment means risking their license (giving recommendations, hallucinated policy details, …).

Today, insurance is too often sold through heavy marketing and abusive sales practices, resulting in frustrated customers, poor understanding of coverage, and unreasonably high prices. @julianomass

What we build

Kinro builds AI sales agents for brokers and D2C carriers, automating the full sales flow from qualification and quoting to recommendations and binding.

How we got here

Parth spent years building RL systems for safety-critical autonomous vehicles at Amazon. I led evaluation research for Gemini in financial services at Google DeepMind. Corentin spent years in InsurTech, working directly with brokers and carriers.

We are all convinced consumers will find solutions to their financial problems in chat interfaces (OpenClaw, ChatGPT, and what comes next). Some of those solutions involve buying financial products.

We want to enable these transactions. Our way of doing that is to enable sellers to be represented in these new generative interfaces compliantly, measurably, and at scale.

Long-term vision

Today, agents interact with buyers directly in our clients' interfaces. Tomorrow, they will sell via agent-to-agent interactions on AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, OpenClaw…). Every insurance product is distributed through a compliant intelligent agent across every surface.
