The Problem:

62% of all companies still rely on legacy software and systems. Many of these systems are manual, outdated, and inefficient. How did we come up with this?

Before we dropped out of UNC we were surrounded by finance students who all faced similar problems at their internships over the summer: Legacy software, no AI, and tons of grunt work. Most existing finance solutions thought the best way to provide workflow value was to build an external dashboard. But after speaking to hundreds of finance professionals we realized that teams don’t want an external solution, they require something that is directly within their workflow. So, we started by building a Microsoft PowerPoint plugin. Soon, financial teams started asking us for more, and we then introduced o11 For Excel and o11 For Word. But, why confine ourselves to Microsoft only? Teams that we worked with and spoke to all wanted integrations with the full G Workspace suite, and soon we built it for them in Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets. We’re not stopping there though – while these productivity suites are a large part of our user’s workflows, their workflows aren’t just confined to these tools.
