Problem:

What Woz is NOT:
Woz is NOT another no-code tool for generating prototypes, demos, or “toy apps” (e.g. surveys, to do lists, landing pages, etc). Maybe you’ve tried tools like Bubble, Lovable, or Bolt–these tools are fun and easy to use, but they're not engineered for business building. At Woz, we take the opposite approach–starting from battle-tested backend infrastructure and then customizing it to your business. That way, everything built on Woz is ready for customers on day one.
Our Team:
We met 13 years ago as roommates at MIT and have been building companies pushing the limits of AI/ML ever since. Brad previously cofounded Cairns Health (YC S17, formerly Totemic) where he led an engineering team of 30+ and built an LLM enabled device to cure chronic insomnia. We’re joined by a world class team of ML scientists and production engineers who’ve worked together for the last 10 years, scaling products to millions of users. Woz is the business building and operating platform for the age of AI. Woz enables anyone to launch, scale and operate AI-enabled software businesses without a technical co-founder or significant upfront investment. Ultimately, Woz will be the default platform where millions of AI-enabled entrepreneurs launch and scale their ventures.
We start by solving a burning problem for nontechnical founders today: while AI code generation removes barriers to software development, the leap from software app to real scalable business is enormous - requiring robust architecture, 3rd party integrations, bug fixes and more. Woz provides the ongoing engineering expertise as well as the business tools / services needed to turn ideas into fully operational businesses.
