The Problem:
Sales reps have too much on their plate: back-to-back meetings, Slack messages from prospects, follow-up emails, and coordination with SEs. The best reps balance this. The rest forget to follow up, come to calls unprepared, and lose deals at pricing because they can't value sell.
This gets harder when you're selling a technical product as a non-technical rep. You can't articulate value if you don't fully understand what you're selling, so reps default to features, line items, and discounts.
The Result: enterprise deals die in procurement.
When reps walk in without a clear business case, procurement has all the leverage. Deals stall on price, ACV gets discounted away, or the deal dies entirely.
We lived this at Mintlify. Reps looked great on paper, but folded under pressure. The truth is, sales is as much nurturing as it is selling. The best reps act like consultants, not order takers.
Our Solution: At an internal Mintlify hackathon, our Head of Sales paired with Ricardo to build an internal tool: a value case generator trained on call recordings, past deals, case studies, ROI calculators, and the MEDDIC framework. The output was a 3-page business case our champions used to sell Mintlify internally — driving higher ACVs and helping us close millions from enterprise logos.
Why can’t we evangelize every GTM team to close deals at higher ACV through encouraging value selling?
We took those learnings to build Salesgraph.
In Slack, reps get proactive context 5 minutes before every call — triggers from background agents, key notes from previous calls, and what to cover next. After every call, they get a DM with strengths, gaps to address, and next steps.
We integrate with major call recorders and ship our own ambient recorder (a sales-focused alternative to Granola), free for founders and teams under 3.
